Our one golden rule

If the pressure is not right, just tell us.

Too hard? Too soft? Say so straight away. We would much rather adjust than have you put up with it. "A bit firmer, please" is music to our ears. Your feedback is what makes the session work.

Before you come in

Your massage starts before you even get here.

  • Drink some water.

It makes your muscles softer and easier to work on.

  • Don't eat a big meal first.

A light snack is fine, but a full stomach can feel uncomfortable lying down.

  • Come a few minutes early.

Then you are not rushing. You can settle in before we start.

  • Wear comfy clothes.

You only undress as much as you want to.

  • Think about what you want.

Maybe you just want to relax. Maybe a sore spot needs help. Let us know so we can plan your session.

Tell us about you

Please tell your therapist what matters.

Old injuries. Sore areas. If you are pregnant. Any health conditions or medications. Areas you would rather we avoid. None of it is a bother. It helps us look after you the right way.

If you are not sure whether to mention something, just mention it.

Settling in

You are in charge of comfort.

  • Speak up if you are too hot or cold. Same for the music, the lights, or the headrest.

  • Undress only to where you feel comfortable. We keep you covered with a towel the whole time, uncovering only the area being worked on.

  • Take a slow breath as you lie down. Let the rest of the day wait for you.

During your massage

You help make the massage great too.

A few small things from your side make a real difference to how the session feels.

  • Tell us about the pressure.

This is the most important one. Too hard, too soft, or just not right — say so immediately.

  • Chat or stay quiet.

Both are completely fine. Do what feels good today.

  • Breathe slowly.

When we work on a tight spot, breathe out slowly. It helps the muscle let go. Try not to hold your breath.

  • Let your thoughts go.

Your to-do list can wait one hour. This time is just for you.

  • It is okay to fall asleep.

Lots of people do. We take it as a compliment.

"You are half of the massage."

After your massage

What you do afterwards helps the good feeling last.

  • Get up slowly.

You might feel light, or lovely and heavy. Take your time.

  • Keep drinking water.

Through the rest of the day.

  • Take it easy.

A slow walk or a warm bath is ideal. Avoid rushing back into stress.

  • Move gently.

A little easy movement helps your body settle.

  • A bit of soreness is normal.

Like after exercise, it passes in a day or two. Warmth and water help.

  • Notice how you sleep.

Many people sleep very well after a massage. See if you do too.

A few honest words

Firm does not have to hurt.

A good massage can be strong and still feel good. It should never really hurt. Your feedback keeps it just right.

One massage is great. More is even better.

One session feels lovely. But if a problem has been around for a while, a few visits work far better than one.

Everyone is different.

Your body may even feel different each visit. That is completely normal. We work with how you feel on the day.

Make it yours

Add a little something extra.

Every massage is lovely on its own. Each add-on does something specific. Just ask when you book, or tell us when you arrive.

Aromatherapy

$15

Lovely scents to help you relax. Pick a smell that suits your mood: calming, cheerful, or grounding.

Hot Stone

$20

Warm, smooth stones melt away tight spots. They help us work deeper and feel wonderful.

Bamboo Stick

$20

Warm bamboo rolls over sore muscles. A firm, deep, satisfying feeling. Great for backs and legs.

Balinese Beer

A warm blend of spiced ingredients worked gently into the skin. It nourishes and calms while you breathe in the aroma.

Hot Herbal Compress
