What it is

Waxing at Massage Eden is delivered by the same therapists who handle our massage and facial menus — not a separate roster, not a downgraded service. Hot wax (poured warm, hardens, lifted) is used on sensitive areas: bikini line, underarms, face. Strip wax (warm wax, cloth strip pressed and pulled) is faster for larger zones with thicker growth: legs, back, chest. Most clients book a routine — Brazilian + underarms + bikini line, or full legs + bikini, or eyebrows alone — and come back every three to four weeks once the rhythm is established. Hot wax tends to leave less ingrown hair and gives a longer regrowth window than shaving; strip wax is faster for time-pressed bookings on larger areas.

Why it works

What you get for your hour.

  • Both wax types in one room

Hot and strip wax aren't separate services — your therapist picks the technique to match the area. Sensitive zones get hot wax, larger zones get strip. You don't book two appointments to cover both.

  • Three to four weeks between sessions

Waxed hair takes longer to reach the surface than shaved hair, which means the smooth-skin window stretches further. Most clients land on a three-to-four-week rhythm; some areas (face, bikini) sit closer to three weeks.

  • Same therapists, same standard

Our waxing roster is the massage roster — the same trained team across all three studios, the same approach to comfort, draping, and aftercare.

Sixteen services

Face, body, and intimate areas.

Pricing below covers the most-booked services. Less-common combinations and bundle bookings are available — call any studio if your service area isn't listed.

  • Face — eyebrows, lips, full face

Eyebrow shape ($20, 15 min), upper lip ($20, 15 min), eyebrow + lip together ($40, 20 min), or full face ($60, 30 min). Hot wax across the face for sensitive skin; precise eyebrow shaping with strip wax on stronger growth.

  • Brazilian, bikini line

First-time Brazilian ($89, 45 min), recurring Brazilian ($65, 30 min), or bikini line trim ($40, 15 min). Hot wax used throughout. First-time sessions take longer — the therapist works in stages and the hair is at its thickest.

  • Underarms, forearms, buttocks

Underarms ($30, 20 min), forearms ($30, 20 min), buttocks ($40, 20 min). Hot wax on the underarms; strip wax on forearms and buttocks for speed.

  • Legs — lower, upper, full

Lower legs to toes ($40, 20 min), upper legs to hips ($50, 25 min), full legs to toes ($60, 30 min). Strip wax throughout — efficient on the larger leg surface; hot wax on request for sensitive skin.

  • Chest, stomach, full back, full arms

Chest and stomach ($40, 20 min), full back ($50, 25 min), full arms ($50, 30 min). Strip wax across these zones — the thicker growth and larger surface area make it the faster choice.

  • Full body, back-sack-crack

Full body ($229, 120 min) covers face, arms, legs, torso, and bikini line in a single appointment. Back, sack and crack (men, $119, 60 min) is the masculine intimate-and-back package — hot wax in sensitive areas, strip wax across the back.

Arrive five minutes early to fill out a short health-history form. Wear loose clothing that's easy to change in and out of for the area being waxed. Avoid sun exposure, exfoliating, and hot showers for twenty-four hours after the session — the skin is more reactive than usual. Books fastest if you keep a consistent rhythm — every three to four weeks for most areas — so the hair is at its ideal length when you arrive.

Common questions

Before you book.

  • What's the difference between hot wax and strip wax?

Hot wax is poured warm and hardens onto the hair before it's lifted — gentler on sensitive areas like the bikini line, underarms, and face. Strip wax uses a cloth strip pressed onto warm wax — faster for larger areas like legs and back where the skin is less sensitive. Your therapist picks the technique to match the area; for very sensitive skin, hot wax is the default.

  • How long should the hair be before I book?

About a quarter-inch — long enough for the wax to grip, short enough that removal is comfortable. If you've shaved recently, wait two to three weeks before booking.

  • Will it hurt?

First-time waxing is more uncomfortable than recurring sessions — the hair tends to be thicker and the skin hasn't adjusted. Most people find the discomfort manageable and brief. If you're sensitive to pain, book in the week after your period starts (skin is least reactive then) and avoid caffeine before the session.

  • Can I wax during pregnancy?

Yes, waxing is generally considered safe during pregnancy. Please let us know at booking so your therapist can use the gentler hot wax technique and adjust positioning as needed. We recommend checking with your midwife or GP first if you have any specific concerns.

  • How often should I come in?

Every three to four weeks for most areas — the timeframe between when regrowth becomes visible and when the hair is long enough to wax again. Establish a rhythm that fits your schedule; consistency makes each session shorter.
